What better way to relax and ring in the New Year then on the beach in El Salvador..there isn't any. After a long month of working as tias in the sections with the kids a bunch of us took off to El Tunco, El Salvador to lay on the beach, catch some waves, drink liquados and do absolutely nothing. It was a much needed vacation and an amazing way to celebrate the New Year, surrounded by friends, drinks, the ocean, the starry sky, fireworks and more.
Each evening around 6pm we could walk down the dirt roads to the beach to see this.....
and this....
During the day we would lounge on the beach and watch the surfers catch waves...
We spent New Years at a beachside bar with drinks and sparklers in hand...
In the evenings we hung by the pool...
And every day we ate pupusas...
